Herkimer County Industrial Development Agency (HCIDA)

The Herkimer County Industrial Development Agency is Herkimer County's lead agent for economic development services in Herkimer County. In addition to marketing the county and its available industrial sites and facilities to the business community, the HCIDA administers several financing and tax-abatement programs for business expansion and retention efforts. The HCIDA also functions as a coordinator, or "one stop" to help businesses access a wide variety of assistance initiatives offered by local, regional, state and federal entities.
